Membership

If you are a woman over 50 and living in the Boston area we welcome your application to the Chestnuts. We take in new members every year based on attrition and thus every year there are some openings. Yearly dues are $75.00, payable by credit card only, and automatically charged yearly unless a member opps not to renew.

We open membership on September 1st of each year and accept applications via email from 9AM on September 1st until 5 PM on September 10th or until our membership limit is reached. We do not have another formal intake of new members, but based on our September enrollment, we may have just a couple of openings mid winter. Our total acceptances per year are generally limited to 25 so please apply early if you are interested.

To apply, please submit the following information to our Membership Committee at chestnuts2020membership@gmail.com. The Chestnut Membership Committee will respond to your email submission within 15 days.

   Please note that upon acceptance as a member, your name, edited bio, street (without numbers) and phone number will appear on our Chestnut website in our password protected directory.
